Washing instructions
Football jerseys are polyester with heat-pressed prints and badges. Treated right, they stay vivid for years. Please follow these steps:
- 1
Turn it inside out
Always wash the jersey inside out. This protects the printed name, number, and badges from rubbing against other clothes.
- 2
Cold water only — max 30°C
Hot water is the number one cause of peeling prints and warped fabric. Use a cold, gentle cycle or hand wash.
- 3
Mild detergent, no bleach
Use a small amount of mild detergent. Never use bleach or stain removers with chlorine — they eat the print and fade colors.
- 4
No fabric softener
Softener coats polyester fibers, traps odors, and weakens the adhesive behind prints. Skip it entirely.
- 5
Don't soak for long
Soaking longer than 30 minutes can lift the edges of heat-pressed prints. Treat stains promptly with cold water instead.
- 6
Wash with similar items
Wash with similar colors and avoid anything with zippers or velcro, which snag jersey fabric.
- 7
Air dry — never tumble dry
The dryer's heat destroys prints. Hang the jersey to dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight.
- 8
Never iron the print
If you must iron, turn the jersey inside out and use the lowest heat, avoiding printed areas completely.
